THE CRISIS, Columbus, Ohio A lot of seven issues dated June 28, Aug. 30, Sept. 6, Oct. 11, 18 & 25, Nov. 1, 1865. Each issue--from this somewhat infamous "pro-South" newspaper from the North--has much end-of-war-related content, with some reports on the Wirz Andersonville Prison trial, and items on the fate of slaves from after the war.
Each issue is complete in 8 pages, never-bound nor trimmed so they fold out to one large sheet, minor foxing and minor margin wear. A nice lot with a wealth of fine content.
