Avery graphic, broadside-like front page announcing the death of President McKinley.
The banner headline reads: "OUR GREAT PRESIDENT IS DEAD" with subheads: Nation's Martyr" "William McKinley the Victi of a Lawless Hatred" "With a Benediction In His Heart He Bows to the Divine Will ad Passes to His Eternal Rest". There are also more related heads on McKinley in a tombstone-like graphic at the center of the page, and there are 22 U.S. flags rimming the front page, all at half-mast.
Present are the outer leaves only being pages 1, 2, 11 and 12. There is glue at the spine and at portion of the central fold, scattered foxing, various margin tears.
