The front page includes: "War News" "Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac Railroad" "How Complimentary Presentations Are Gotten Up Among the Yankees" "Additional From the North--Yankee Bluster About the War" "From New Orleans" which includes a lengthy letter signed in type by: Benj. F. Butler; plus other items on the Civil War.
The back page has the always interesting editorial, beginning: "The campaign of General Bragg in Tennessee and Kentucky approaches its conclusion, & the military riddles with which he and General Buell have puzzled the world, & perhaps themselves also, during the last four months must shortly receive some sort of solution..." with much more.
Much of the bkpg. is taken up with lengthy reports from: "The Confederate Congress", much dealing with the Civil War. Smaller items include: "New Orleans Negroes on Their Dignity" "A Yankee's Opinion of a Woman's Hate" "A Hard Winter" and more.
Complete as a single sheet newspaper with a banner masthead, never bound nor trimmed, minor rubbing at folds, very nice condition.
