"Extraordinary" issues were printed outside the normal printing schedule when notable news needed to get to the public as quickly as possible.
This extraordinary issue is entirely taken up with the report on the Battle of Martinique, including the letter from Sir George Rodney to Mr. Stephens, dated on board the Sandwich near Fort Royal Bay, Martinique. In his letter are the details of the battle between the British fleet and the French.
Page 2 has the: "Line of Battle on the Day of Action, April 17, 1780".
Four pages, with half of pg. 3 & all of the bkpg. blank, 7 34 by 12 inches, great condition.
