The front page has a nearly full column article: "Georgia And Cherokees" which concerns the controversial "Trail of Tears". One bit notes: "...the charge of injustice & inhumanity in the act of Congress passed...for the removal of the Cherokee Indians from the state of Georgia to some place beyond the Mississippi...".
