This Genuine newspaper has a Wealth of Civil War reporting from during Abraham Lincoln's administration.

Under the one column, front page headline, "THE RIOT CONTINUED", are:  "Violence and Pillage", "General Rioting About the City", "The Mob Repulsed by the Police and Military", "Labor Suspended In Factories", "Citizens stoned And Beaten", "Col. O'Brien Beaten Almost To Death", and "Mayor Opdyke's House Attacked".
Also on the front page is: "THE FALL OF VICKSBURG", with over 4-columns of text. Additional Civil War related reports are found throughout.
