February 13, 1779

THE LONDON EVENING POST, England, Feb. 13, 1779

* Revolutionary War Era
* 18th century
* From The Enemy

The back page has an interesting item: "All the officers of character lately come from America laugh at the acquisition of Georgia, and the supposed dissensions amongst the people of America, as probable grounds of an accommodation. From a variety of the best reasons, they know it is impossible to re-unite the two countries; and what is more strange, administration themselves (though they encourage the contrary report by their runners, etc.) are thoroughly convinced the war with America can only be concluded by an abdication on the part of England."
Four pages, folio size, never-trimmed margins, red tax stamp on page 3, nice condition.
