December 03, 1850

NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., Dec. 3, 1850  Taking all of the front page & part of page 2 is the President's annual state-of-the-union address, signed in type at its conclusion by: Millard Fillmore. It is headed: "The Message".
As was typical with this annual tradition, President Fillmore reviewed the events of the year addressing the broad scope of work which concerned the nation in 1850.
Additionally, inside pages contain the "Report of the Postmaster General" "Report of the Secretary of War" "Report of the Secretary of the Interior" and the "Report of the Secretary of the Navy".
Terrific to have these documents in this title from the nation's capital, where the address was given.
Four pages, slightly irregular at the blank spine due to disbinding, otherwise very nice condition.
