NILES' WEEKLY REGISTER, Baltimore, Dec. 23, 1815 Content includes : "A Proclamation" signed by the President: James Madison, requiring: "...all persons who have unlawfully taken possession of...public lands...to remove therefrom..." followed by a: "Naval Report" and then: "The Navy" taking nearly 4 pages, and the: "Naval Affairs" taking 2 1/2 pages.
Nice letter: "Cruise of the Essex" - Sequel of Com. Porter's Expedition in the South Sea", signed by: John Gamble.
Sixteen pages, 6 1/4 by 9 1/2 inches, nice condition.
