Page 3 has an article: "Mollies Reprieved" which concerns the Mollie Maguires, beginning: "Gov. Hartranft...reprieved the condemned Mollie Maguires, James McDonnell and Charles Sharpe, who were to have been hanged on the 18th instant, at Mauch Chunk..." with further details. Easton is not far from what was then Mauch Chunk, currently Jim Thorpe.
