The front page has a half column article: "Lesson of Jesse James' Life" with the text including in part: "The life of Jesse James reads like a romance, which the manner of his death ends with a fitting moral...to die by the revolver of a quondam follower & friend, to be shot down as a dangerous animal in his own house before the eyes of his wife & children...is a fitting punishment for the deeds of lawless & violence which have made his name a terror throughout the Southwest..." with much more (see). Jesse James was killed the previous month.
Six pages, some minor spine loss to inside leaves, partially loose at the spine, generally good.
