The sport's section (page 14) has a one column heading: "Giants Hot Six Homers, Win 10-4" Text includes: "....Negro Infielder Jackie Robinson of the Brooks hit a homer for the Dodgers..." This was in fact Robinson's very 1st home run in a regular season baseball game with the Dodgers. He broke the color barrier just a few days earlier.
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Complete with all 12 pages, light toning at the margins with small piece torn away along the right margin of the front page, otherwise good.
