From the midst of the War of 1812, page 2 has a lengthy letter headed: "Rodger's Cruize" from on board the frigate President, signed in type: Jno. Rodgers. Pg. 3 had details of the funeral of William Henry Allen, late commander of the U.S. sloop of war Argus. Other bits on the War of 1812.
Four pages, ever bound nor trimmed, several creases, nice condition.
