THE NEW YORK TIMES, April 9, 1933

* Prohibition ends
* Beer returns
* Legal liquor

The front page has a one column heading: "$10,000,000 REVENUE FROM BEER IN A DAY" with subheads. (see) The Cullen-Harrison Act which allowed for the sale of 3.2% beer throughout the nation was passed just 2 days earlier. The full end of Prohibition would come on Dec. 5 with the ratification of the 21st Amendment.
Complete 1st section only with all 32 pages, light toning and some wear at the margins, otherwise good.
