SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN SUPPLEMENT, New York, Aug. 10, 1878 This title was a totally separate, stand-alone publication from the more well-known SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN. The entire front page is on: "The Art Of Preserving The Eyesight" carrying over to pg. 2 as well. The ftpg. has 5 related illustrations. A great issue for an ophthalmologist.
Also within is: "The Paris Exhibition - The Algerian Court"; "Pavilion of the French Forest Conservations"; "West Reversing Gear"; "Verneuil, Winner of the Ascot Gold Cup"; and additional illustrations and articles.
Sixteen pages and is in very good condition.
