NILES' NATIONAL REGISTER, Baltimore, May 23, 1846 Although the ftpg. has an article concerning a treaty with the Kansas Indians, the overwhelming focus of this issue is on the Mexican War is almost 15 of the 16 pages are taken up with reports on that war. An incredible amount of war detail.
Sixteen pages, 8 1/4 by 11 3/4 inches, some loss to margins of the back leaf, nice condition.
As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
