DREWRY'S DERBY MERCURY, England, Aug. 7, 1783 The ftpg. includes a report: "That able & ingenious veteran Dr. Franklin is preparing to leave Paris (where he has resided five years with great credit to himself, & profit to his country) to return to America...". Also reports concerning articles for peace & negotiations with some Caribbean Islands as it relates to the overall peace treaty ending the Revolutionary War.
