The bottom of the front page has a report headed: "Trailblazing Contralto Marian Anderson Dies" with subhead: "The Black Singer Overcame Prejudice to Gain Worldwide Acclaim for Her Concert Hall Artistry". Included is a photo of her from 1939.
The article carries over to page 36 with much detail on her life and a photo of her from 1990. Marian Anderson was an African-American contralto and one of the most celebrated singers of the twentieth century.
The issue includes all of sections A, B, C, D, E, & F. Very nice, clean condition.
