HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, May 27, 1876 Full front page: 'The Centennial: The Rush for Rooms at the Philadelphia Hotels'; Four full page scenes on the "Our Centennial" including 'The Plan of the Grounds & Buildings'; Full page Thomas Nast: 'The Lion (U.S.G.) Not In Love - Went To Clip, But Was Clipper'.
The four-panel "Bird's Eye View of Philadelphia" Supplement is present. Archival mends have been made on the reverse-side to the lower left quarter panel and at the centerfold area, otherwise it is in very nice condition.
Complete in 16 pages plus supplement, contains additional prints and related text and is in very good condition.
