PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, Oct. 29, 1861
* General Benjamin Franklin Kelley
* First Battle of Springfield - Missouri
The front page features a nice print of: "Brigadier-General B. F. Kelley, the Hero of Phillippi and Romney." with a biography of him as well. Rather unusual to find prints of generals as maps are much more common.
A nice stack of first column heads including: "THE GREAT REBELLION" "The Western Victories Confirmed!" "Arrival of Rebel Prisoners" "Rebels Routed & Killed" "The Coming Battle" "A secessionist Ridden on a Rail" "The Official Report of the Battle at Harper's Ferry" and much more.
Eight pages, nice condition.
