Page 2 has nearly half column article: "Inaugural Of Jeff Davis" "A Libelous Document" which contains excepts from his inaugural address. It begins: "The Richmond Enquirer of the 22nd has Jeff. Davis' inaugural in which that traitor says: 'Whatever of hope some may have entertained that a returning sense of justice would remove the danger with which our rights were threatened & rendered it possible to preserve the Union of the Constitution, must have been dispelled by the malignity and barbarity of the Northern States in the prosecution of the existing war...".
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, large folio size, nice condition. The folder size noted is for the issue folded in half.
