Among the news reports near the back are a few items headed: "America" beginning: "America has now to boast a flourishing trade & a wise and upright administration..." with more on the economic situation of the new country.Included are both plates called for.
Complete in 96 pages, full title/contents page with an engraving of St. John's Gate, 5 by 8 inches, nice condition.
This was the first periodical to use the word "magazine" in its title, having begun in 1731 and lasting until 1907.
