NILES' WEEKLY REGISTER, Baltimore, Dec. 13, 1834  Being at the end of the year this issue has numerous governmental reports on the state of the nation, including: "Report of the Secretary of the Navy" which takes 2 pages; "Report of the Secretary of the Treasury" which takes nearly 7 pages; "Report of the Secretary of War" and the: "Report of the Postmaster General" on the state of the Post Office.
Other items include: "Masonry & Anti-Masonry In Vermont", lengthy reports from Congress, and "The Friends & the Indians".
Complete in 24 pages, 6 by 9 1/2 inches, very nice condition.

As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
