NILES' WEEKLY REGISTER, Baltimore, March 13, 1819  Inside has: "General Jackson" and over a page of: "List of Acts" and also includes the text of 3 Acts of Congress, each signed: James Monroe, one: "...to protect the commerce of the United States and to punish the crime of piracy." Also inside: "Defence of General Jackson - Strictures on Mr. Lacock's Report on the Seminole War".
Included is the 8 pages "Supplement" to the issue which is filled with reports from Congress.
Complete in 24 pages with the Supplement, 6 by 9 1/2 inches, very nice condition.

As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
