Page 3 has an item: "Now that Rhode Island is evacuated it is said D'Estaign will take immediate possession of it in the name of his Most Christian Majesty as it is expressly stipulated in one of the articles between the French King and the Congress that the French shall have possession of Rhode Island as soon as the English leave it."
