This Genuine newspaper has a Wealth of Civil War reporting from during Abraham Lincoln's administration.

The front page has a map titled: "THE OPPOSING ARMIES ON THE RAPPAHANNOCK".

Among the one column headlines on the Civil War are: "FROM THE ARMY OF THE POTOMAC", "New Earthworks Thrown up by the Rebels Near Fredericksburgh", "A Position Taken Opposite the Rebel Right Wing", "IMPORTANT OPERATION IN FRONT", "The Enemy Encountered at Snicker's Gap and Berryville" and more.

Complete in eight pages. This issue is not fragile as newsprint from this era was made of cotton and linen rags, allowing them to remain very pliable and easy to handle. Little staining with minor margin wear, otherwise in good condition.
