Early newspapers from Oklahoma are very difficult to come by, primarily due to the territory being relatively unsettled through the 19th century. Created from a combination of the Oklahoma Territory and the Indian Territory, it did not become a state until 1907.
Eight pages, various news tidbits and a variety of literary items, plus advertisements. Measures 11 by 15 inches, some minor margin tears and a few small, archival mends.
