A fascinating and very unusual newspaper of small-size themed on predicting what would happen in the future as well as astrology and phrenology. The "science" of phrenology believed that a person's intelligence & personality were a factor of the shape of their skull.
The ftpg. has: "Prognostic Astronomy: Astro-Phrenology" and a portrait of Stephen Douglass, as well as an: "Idiot, 20 Years old." (see). This issue includes a broadsheet "Introduction" to the science of phrenology which has the same two mentioned prints and mentions the comparison to Douglas & the idiot.
Also includes are: "Fortunate and Unfortunate Days for February, 1862" as well as other items.
Four pages plus the broadsheet, 5 3/4 by 9 inches, a bit irregular at the spine, nice condition.
