The full front page is a Thomas Nast print: "Thanks To Grant" showing Liberty pinning a medal on him. The double page centerfold is a desired Winslow Homer print titled: "Halt Of A Wagon Train" showing soldiers around a camp fire. Other prints within include: "The Stag Dance" "A Veteran On Furlough" "A Stampede of Army Horses" "Camp of the New York 103rd Regiment Before Charleston" "Accident on the Pennsylvania Central Railroad" "Saltpeter Cave Near Chattanooga" and prints of: "Major-General Herron" and: "Sergeant John Clem--Our Youngest Soldier" which was 12 years old.
Sixteen pages, never bound nor trimmed, some margin wear & some dirtiness to the front page. The Homer print is in very nice condition without binding holes.
