A lot of four issues, each with front page column heads concerning the condition of President James Garfield from shortly after being shot. The dates are August 26, 27, 30 and 31, 1881. Each issue has the top of the first column headed: "THE PRESIDENT" with various and differing subheads concerning his condition at that time (see photos).
Each is complete in four pages, has some clean tears at the margins, Otherwise generally nice.
