THE LONDON CHRONICLE, October 26, 1780
* Battle of Camden, South Carolina
* Revolutionary War original from the enemy
An inside page has a letter from Camden, South Carolina, which begins: "You will have the particulars of this affair from the General's account, much better than I can describe: I shall, therefore, only inform you, it was the most glorious day for Britain that ever happened in America. We had not 1500 regular troops & the enemy were upwards of 6000..." followed by a report on this historic Battle of Camden (see).
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 1/4 inches, rubbing to the front page only causes a few small holes, otherwise very nice condition.
