June 28, 1919

THE OMAHA DAILY NEWS, Omaha, June 28, 1919 See the photo below for one of the more unusual banner headlines, being a report noting: "PEACE TREATY SIGNED" but set in a type which looks like handwriting. Also in bold type on the ftpg: "China Alone Refuses To Sign Covenant That Ends Greatest War in History" and more subheads such as "World's Ten Greatest Peace Treaties"; very graphic "Germany Signs"; "Era of Freedom Open for Word, President Says" and "War Cronology" (see photos).

A very unusual display piece, complete in 8 pages, small archival mends in right margin area close to the fold area and an article cut from the last page, otherwise is in very nice condition.
