THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, July 20, 1773 An inside page has: "Animadversions on the late Act for Preventing the Clipping and Diminishing of the Gold Coin of this Kingdom". Another report headed: "America" is concerning: "...the island of St. Vincent, the Carribs, formed into small parties in the night, plunder the inhabitants & render property extremely insecure; there will be no real safety until the whole race of them are translated where they can annoy us no more."
