From Guernsey during the Nazi occupation...

German propoganda...

Item # 557803

November 01, 1940

THE EVENING PRESS, Island of Guernsey, November 1, 1940 This four page newspaper was published on this island in the English Channel and was occupied by the Germans during almost all of WWII. During the Nazi occupation they took over this newspaper and filled it with pro-German propaganda, offering a unique insight into how the Axis reported the news during the war. Some of the articles within this issue include:  "German Official Communique", "Your Coupons And Your Card" (discussing rationing), "Sharp Shooting Practice" (just in case you wondered if they were accurate - a little intimidation), and "Today's Lesson In German", etc.

The issue you receive will include Nazi propaganda related articles and related ads.  Very nice condition and a unique opportunity for a bonafide Nazi newspaper printed in English. A few edge tears - no loss (see images). Great for framing !
