Ornate masthead takes over half of the front page...

DODGE'S LITERARY MUSEUM, Boston, April 30, 1853 See the photo below for one of the more detailed and certainly one of the largest masthead illustrations to be found. As the title suggests this 16 page issue has mostly literary content but there is some current news near the back, including "Santa Anna in Mexico". Measures about 10 1/2 by 14 inches, just a bit of light foxing, generally nice condition. A very uncommon title & extremely displayable!
