This issue has a color cover page before the title page. On the back of the cover page, there is an illustration titled "If It Came Our Way" by Oliver Herford.

In this issue, there are several articles including "Are We Ready? by Howard D. Wheeler; "The Anti-Papal Panic" by Francis C. Kelly, D.D. LL. D.; "War As It Is" by Robert W. Sneddon; "'Scouting' Football" by Herbert Reed and "Fomenting the Secession of Panama" by McGregor.

"The Inventor's Rough Road" by Gilson Gardner features the inventions of the Flying Machine of O. & W. Wright and T. A. Edison Electric-Light. It includes the patented drawings for both inventions.

There are also several illustrations in this issue including the double page centerfold which is titled "The Tirewomen" by Boardman Robinson and "Pen and Inklings--The Kaiser's Revenge" by Oliver Herford.

Other advertisements of the day are included as well, helping to portray life at the turn of the century. This issue is in very good condition.
