Additional content includes "The Fall of Fort Donelson" by James Barnes, which includes a "wood-cut in the issue of "Harper's Weekly" for March 8, 1862." There are photos of "In the Week's News" and the double page illustration is of "To Prevent Bad Luck Throw the Salt Over the Left Shoulder--But It Doesn't Always Work" by W. B. King. There is a full page illustration of "Monday Morning" by Henry J. Peck plus much more.
