This issue is has an illustration of "The Opening of Congress" by Kemble and there is an article of "One Hundred Years of a Great Church" by John Hobart. There is also a page of "Art in Philadelphia" which is four illustrations done by artists that are now on display at the "Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts." Also in this issue are photos of "Of Interest to Playgoers" plus much more.

Other advertisements of the day are included as well, helping to portray life at the turn of the century.
