HARPER'S WEEKLY, April 8, 1905, New York.  Of particular interest is the quarter-page letter titled: "A Humane Word from Satan" which is prefaced with: "The following letter, signed by Satan and purporting to come from him, we have reason to believe was not written by him but by Mark Twain."  Also included:  front page illustration "A Shining Mark" by W. A. Rogers; Camp of the Reserves of the First Division Japanese Army in Manchuria Waiting for Orders to Advance; The Headquarters and Personal and Division Staffs of Major-General Corbin, Commanding the Philippines Division of the United States Army at Manila; The Opening of the Racing Season in the East; Double page illustration "The New Plans for the Rebuilding of Columbia University" by H. M. Pettit; Miss Hilda Spong, Who Appears with William Gillette in the Revival of "Sherlock Holmes"; and other advertisements of the day.

Complete in 16 pages and in good condition.
