HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, April 24, 1886  The entire front page is taken up with two prints captioned: "Closing Scenes of the Apache War", the upper one: "Geronimo and His Band" and the lower one: "General Crook's Conference With Geronimo", showing both, among others. Inside has a full page with four prints of: "The Hostile Apaches" with each captioned, including: "Geronimo, His Son, and Two Picked Braves" and: "Geronimo and Natchez", with a third one showing Geronimo as well.
Other prints include: "The Indicted Aldermen of New York" "Accepted Design for the New Congressional Library" "Ainsworth R. Spofford, Librarian of Congress" "Rev. James M. Taylor, President-Elect of Vassar College"; a fullpg: "The Naval Drill at Pensacola--The 'Tennessee' Entering the Firing Arc"; a Frederic Remington print: "The fourth Trooper"; "Sampson Low, Died April 16, 1886" and a Thomas Nast political cartoon: "Our Grateful Endorsement" which shows Uncle Sam. A smaller Nast cartoon on the bkpg.
