HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, December 19, 1885  Certainly the prime feature of this issuie is the great Thomas Nast double page print: 'Santa Claus's Route' showing two children marking out his route from the North Pole. Very displayable.
The front cover of the issue features a full page of "Hon. John Sherman, President pro tempore of the United States Senate". A one-third page: "An Inoculation for Hydrophobia" relates to the article on: "Pasteur's Latest Discovery". A full page features illustrations concerning: "The Homes of the Late William H Vanderbilt" while another page features a half page illustration of "The Late William H Vanderbilt" and "The Vanderbilt Tomb at New Dorp, Staten Island". Also a print of: "A Street Lighted by Natural Gas at Findlay, Ohio" and "St. Paul's Church, Glen Cove, Long Island".
