HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, February 16, 1884 The full front page of this issue is of 'The Western Floods -- Scene on the Youghiogheny River'. Two nice full page illustrations 'Laid Up for Winter--Canal boat Colony in Coenties Slip, East River' and 'The Disaster at Crested Butte, Colorado' . A political full page illustration "The Three Bosses of Gotham Went to Sea in a Bowl". A half page 'Extraordinary Skating -- Mr. Paulsen at the Washington Park Rink, Brooklyn' is very nice. A full page illustration is of "The Funeral of Wendell Phillips" and also includes an inset from the service. Another illustration is "A Valentine by Proxy".
The issue is complete in 16 pages and contains additional prints and related text.
