HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, May 26, 1883 The full front page is a print captioned: "The New York & Brooklyn Suspension Bridge--New York Entrance" with an inset of J. A. Roebling, the architect.
One inside page has two prints on the Brooklyn Bridge: "Archway Under Approach, New York Side" and "Cable Anchorage, Brooklyn Side, as it Appeared Before Completion", plus there is a full page print of: "The New York & Brooklyn Suspension Bridge--The Approach on the New York Side" and another full page of the: "Brooklyn Entrance". There is a related article on the opening of the Brooklyn Bridge as well, titled: "The Bridge As A Monument".
Other prints in the issue include: "Mr. Charles Lyman, Chief Examiner Civil Service Commission" "Hon. Wm. S. Woods, U.S. District Judge, Indiana" "The Late Amasa Stone" "The Late Mrs. Jesse R.
