HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, January 23, 1869  The frontpage features a fullpage illustration of "The Harp Girl." Inside is a 1/3 page illustration of "Hon. William Claflin, Governor of Massachusetts" plus a halfpage illustration entitled "The Fur Trapper. " 1/4 page illustration of "Hon. John W. Menard, Colored Congressman form Louisiana" with a small accompanying article.  There is also a full page illustration of "Trotters on the Snow" (Sled Racing with Horses) and a full page illustration of "The Sleigh Ride." A fullpage features two halfpage illustrations of "Altar of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Leavenworth, Kansas" and "Procession of the Immaculate Conception, at Sarayacu, Peru." Another page features halfpage illustrations of "Out in the Snow." and "Foundering of the "Hibernia"."
Complete in 16 pages, in good condition, and contains additional prints and related text.
