HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, September 19, 1868 The front page features coverage of "The 'Wickedest Man's' Reformation" which includes a half-page illustration "Prayer-Meeting in the 'Wickedest Man's' Dance-House" and a smaller "Scene in Front of the 'Wickedest Man's' Dance-House" - all in reference to John Allen's supposed "conversion". A nice fullpage has 3 views in Georgia, showing: "City of Columbus"; "City of Augusta" and "City of Macon". A third-page illustration "New Wesleyan College, Belfast, Ireland". A Thomas Nast illustration is entitled "Lead us Not Into Temptation" and features Lady Liberty with the Capitol in the background. Great and very dramatic full-page "The Indian War -- Indians Attacking a Wagon-Train" is nice for display. "Union League Club" also features a nearly halfpage illustration. A small illustration of "The Grant Medal" is also included. A 1/3 page illustration by Thomas Nast "Keep the Ball Rolling".
Complete in sixteen pages, in good condition, and contains additional prints and related text.
