HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, Sept. 23, 1865  The front page shows: "Champ Ferguson & His Guard", the Kentucky guerrilla arrested for murder, once a protege of John Morgan. Also on the front page are: "Hiram Oliver" and "John W. Hartup". Inside has prints of: "Dover Mills, on the James River & Kanawha Canal, Virginia" "Rockett's Landing, Richmond, Virginia" "The Winans Cigar Yacht, Building in England". A full-size : "Facsimilie of a Gold check Forged by E. A. Ketchum" along with one of the forged letters by Ketchum.
There are two full page prints: "The Horrors of Travel" and:"The New City Hall, Boston, Massachusetts". Plus smaller prints of: "The Breaking of the Atlantic Telegraph Cable on Board the 'Great Eastern' " "Governor William L. Sharkey, of Mississippi" "Hon. J.S. Yerger, of Mississippi" "The Difficult Lesson" and "Fraternal Assistance". The back page has a cartoon: "A Hint to :Phrenologists". Complete in 16 pages.
