HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, Sept. 7, 1861  Full front page: "A Female Rebel In Baltimore" shows a woman in a fancy dress with soldiers around her. Prints inside include: "Preparing Merchant Vessels for the Blockade" which has 4 prints; "Bar of the Spottswood House, Richmond, Virginia" "Brig. General Franz Siegel" "The Rebel General Ben. McCulloch". Also a full page of 5 scenes of: "Recruiting In New York" and a full page "Map Of The Seat of War In The West", a full pg. print: "Fort Lafayette in New York Harbor Where Political Prisoners are Confined" & a fullpg: "Market Place at Winchester, Rendezvous of the Rebel Militia..." and also: "The Conestoga & Lexington, U.S. Gunboats on the Mississippi" & "The Second Fire Zouaves of New York" & "Prince Napoleon & His Wife, the Princess Clotilde".
Four political cartoons on the back page. Complete in 16 pages.
