THE ALLEGANY COUNTY REPORTER, Wellsville, New York, Mar. 21, 1878 A brief pg. 2 report "Sitting Bull Heard From" says, contrary to earlier reports, that he "...and his people are not on the verge of starvation..." and that "...he is preparing for another war next spring, and will be joined as soon as he crosses the border, by all the roving and disaffected Indians in the Northwest."
Rejoined at the spine, otherwise in good condition. Large folio-size.
