Here is a complete, genuine issue of the CHARLESTON DAILY COURIER newspaper from South Carolina, dated July 28, 1862. See the photos below for this fine Confederate newspaper which is one of very few which includes the words: "Confederate States Of America" in the dateline (see photo). This complete 4 page issue includes a small, simple, back page diagram showing the position of "Federal Columns" between the York River Road and the Williamsburg Turnpike. Most of the back page is taken up with war reports as is much of the front page, plus text on page 2 as well. Never bound, some light browning, generally in very nice, clean condition.
