THE NEW-YORK TIMES, February 23, 1860 Page 5 has a notice stating that Abraham Lincoln is scheduled to speak at the Cooper Institute. The notice reads in full: "Hon. Abraham Lincoln , Of Illinois, will speak at the Cooper Institute, This Monday Evening, Feb. 27, to the Republicans Of New-York." A great item relating to the famous speech delivered by Mr. Lincoln a few months before he was nominated to be the presidential candidate for the Republican Party. Notice measures about 1 by 2 3/8 inches.
